Dark and menacing. Even the label looks a dark contrasting image.
Pours dark red. Almost black.
Old English fruit and caramel on the nose. Slight malts. Not the normal but tees I get from dark beers.
Some hops and more bitterness. Toffee like. Almost cinder toffee. Decent.
Definitely would buy again.
Pours well, medium head. Almost ruby gikden amber.
Slightly hoppy. Orange and apricots.
But lacking in huge tastes. A bit bitter but a bit of a let down really.
Breadth and malty. Despite the heavy metal style design I would put it in an old mans hand by the fire.
Wants to be a stout. I enjoyed it. Dark and yeasty. With the addition of some fruits like orange, which gives me the Christmas feeling. Cloves and all that.
Very quaffable simple golden beer.
Dry hoppy and cirussy with a slight bitter finish. Not a gold star but you’d certainly slot a few away on an evening.
