Peddled as a wheat beer, my favourite. Alas not much wheat here. Lemons and a slight wheatiness.
Very pale with a strong head. It’s nice for a black sheep ale. I’m never overly impressed at their selection.
Pours a lovely rich dark chocolate colour with a lasting head.
Very fruit tones. I would say it’s a Christmas pudding in a glass. Currants and toffee/caramel. Cloves and cherries.
Very smooth going down. Quite thin, and nowhere near as much flavour as smell.
It’s okay. Not a bad drop. Pleasantly simple going down
